Dr. McDonald has always been interested in the Sciences, first completing a major in Behavioural Neuroscience and a minor in Biology at Memorial University in 2005. She then decided to follow in her brother’s footsteps by pursuing a career in Chiropractic. Moving to Kansas city and attending the Cleveland Chiropractic College, graduating with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2008.
With over 10 years of experience working as a Chiropractor Alanna is highly trusted by her committed patients. She continues to support the province’s Chiropractors through her role as President of The Newfoundland and Labrador Chiropractic Association. Through this role she is dedicated to establishing standards of practice, while protecting the public interest in our province.
Aaron received his undergraduate degree from Memorial University and then moved to Kansas City, Missouri where he completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College. Aaron owned and operated his own health care office for 20 years where there were 3 chiropractors and a massage therapist.
Dr. McDonald takes a hands-on approach to spinal care. Every adjustment is specific to meet the clients needs, and adjustments are gentle, safe, and effective. There are numerous techniques to comfortably adjust the spine and a healthy spine is critical to overall health and wellness.

Uses segmental drop table system that takes advantage of the spines orientation to enhance the force applied to the segment being adjusted.
Uses a small hand-held instrument to deliver a gentle impulse force to the spine with the goal of restoring motion to the targeted spinal vertebra or joint.
This is the most common adjustment technique used by chiropractors. It uses a high-velocity, low amplitude thrust to release a joint. The goal is to restore proper movement and alignment of spinal and joint dysfunction.
